During the project, Gibson met a challenging schedule and delivered on-time performance through extensive use of advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) and detailed 4D planning.
Client Objectives
T5 Data Centers set out to build a premier server-ready, multi-tenant enterprise data center campus for the Midwest. To accomplish this, the facility required N+1 electrical and mechanical topology combined with outstanding connectivity to all major cloud providers.
Solutions
The initial project phase involved extensive electrical challenges in order to ensure the data center had a reliable power source. Gibson installed two separate 2.5-megawatt generators and four separate 1-megawatt uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). These systems support 40,000 square feet of white space along with 24,500 square feet of office space and support areas.
