Gibson provided single-source healthcare electrical contracting services for the construction of a new, five-level hospital addition along with an extensive upgrade to the existing six-level institution, energy building, and utility tunnels.
Gibson provided the hospital with both high- and low-voltage services—in addition to bringing power from the local utility to the main distribution panel—that allowed for increased patient capacity and improved patient care.
Gibson served as the electrical contractor during the construction of the Friendship Village of Schaumburg, handling all building, site, and site utility work for this continuing care retirement community.
Gibson installed new electrical power distribution, structured cabling, nurse call, fire alarm, and security systems for the Palos Hospital renovation – utilizing an integrated approach and lean construction to help maximize value for the client.
Thanks to their experience working in modern healthcare facilities with advanced medical technologies and equipment, Gibson was selected to handle the tenant fitout for the state-of-the-art Rush University Medical Center.
Gibson provided electrical construction services for the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, utilizing a collaborative approach that helped enable multiple, complex low-voltage systems installations to finish on a tight schedule.
