Brian oversees all of Gibson Electric’s financial activities. His areas of responsibility include financial reporting, payroll, billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchasing, and budgeting.
In cooperation with our Chief Executive Officer, Brian provides financial analyses and sound reporting. His professional excellence helps to ensure internal control measures are met consistently.
Expertise
Brian has developed his career in the accounting profession for more than 30 years. He began as a staff accountant at Chicago Bridge & Iron Company in Oak Brook, IL and progressed through positions of increasing responsibility with a variety of companies, prior to joining Gibson Electric in 2006.
Offering extensive experience in financial reporting, planning, and analysis, Brian has been involved in the implementation of several enterprise resource planning systems.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and keeps current with accounting standards through continuing education opportunities.
The Personal Side
Brian and his wife have two children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, going on trips, listening to music, playing guitar, and watching his favorite baseball team, the Chicago Cubs.
